Innovative Nonprofit Leader Passionate About Nursing Workforce

For over 15 years, I’ve led a nonprofit that brings people together to solve big workforce challenges. I don’t just study the nursing shortage and the nurse vacancy crisis—I work with policymakers, healthcare leaders, and educators to find real solutions. Whether it’s advocating for policies that support the workforce, securing funding for programs that make a difference, or helping organizations rethink how they approach staffing and retention, my goal is always the same: to create a healthcare system where nurses can thrive. I spend a lot of time making sense of complex workforce issues, translating data into real-world strategies that help healthcare leaders and policymakers make informed decisions. I bring the right people together to tackle big problems, from nurse staffing challenges to workforce policy. Most importantly, I turn ideas into action—whether it’s securing a multimillion-dollar grant, launching a statewide initiative, or helping organizations rethink how they support their nursing workforce.
