NWONL March CE/Learning Event: The Happiness Advantage in Nursing Leadership

This session explores the transformative power of positive psychology in nursing leadership through the framework of The Happiness Advantage by Shawn Achor. Leaders will hear how happiness fuels success, not the other way around, and how applying the seven core principles can enhance resilience, reduce burnout, and improve staff engagement. Through strategies and real-world applications, participants will gain actionable tools to create a thriving, motivated, and high-performing nursing team while improving patient outcomes.

1. Examine the Impact of Positive Psychology on Nursing Leadership
• Understand how applying principles from The Happiness Advantage can reduce burnout, enhance resilience, and improve staff engagement in nursing teams.

• NWONL or ACNL members earn CE credit as part of their respective membership: by attending the session and completing the post session survey.
