NWONL November Learning Session: Using Social Capital to Improve Nurse Engagement, Teamwork and Retention

Join us as we learn from Charge Health how over 120 peer hospitals are embracing peer gratitude and support to drive significant improvements in both caregiver loyalty and patient experience.

Charge Health is championing how Social Capital is can be leveraged as a critical asset for healthcare organizations.  This discussion will focus on innovative approaches to improve nurse engagement, teamwork and retention through the use of social capital.  We will explore results published in The Journal of Nursing Administration across 120 hospitals, driving improvements such as:

• 9% increase in a Caregiver’s Likelihood to Recommend Working at their organization 
• 6% Increase in HCAHPS Teamwork and Overall Likelihood to Recommend Scores

This will be a learning session, oriented to share outcomes and inform and empower Nursing Leaders to consider options they may be able to employ in their own teams and organizations.
