Dr. Terry Carter is an internationally respected nurse executive, leadership strategist, and founder of the Empowered Nurse Leaders' Summit. With over two decades of experience spanning clinical, operational, and executive roles, Dr. Carter is a passionate advocate for transformative leadership in healthcare. A graduate of the George Washington University and a Fellow of the AONL Director Fellowship, she equips mid-to-late career nurse leaders to lead boldly, set boundaries without guilt, and reclaim joy in their professional journey. Dr. Carter will bring her signature blend of strategy, soul, and resilience to create space for meaningful connection, growth, and renewal.
